Toronto-based poets Yeonsu Lucia Park and bonaventure saptel
will read from their forthcoming works, to be released this winter.
Both writers examine the gamut of sense and feeling.

Lucia Park, a young and naturally-gifted poet speaks intensely
and piercingly about her experiences. This is Park’s first reading from her first book.

Saptel’s third book releases “the many demons” who are finding
their first escape after almost two decades in solitary confinement.

The Sea That Swallowed Me Whole by Yeon Su Lucia Park

Coming Soon: A young and coming poet whose brevity and intensity are startling. Park says, “Poetry should ignite some kind of reaction and poetry should translate into emotion.” Her work translates well and provokes reaction, just as she felt them when she wrote her poetry.
