Buzzard Press was created in 1983 in Montréal, Québec.
Its first endeavour was the publication of And/Or, a joint publication of Michael Woloschuk and bonaventure saptel.
Although the primary purpose of Buzzard Press was to publish previously-unpublished poets, the focus changed as life intervened. From publishing to working full-time to social activism to community work – all these intervened. Life continues and we must continue with it.
Many years later, we published Dying by Pieces and other Rituals, The Sea That Swallowed Me Whole, and The Fabric of Veins. Perhaps we will publish more in the future. We shall see.
