FRANCIS DOS REMEDIOS Also known as Mr. Frank Entered peacefully into rest Wednesday, July 2, 2003 at Kaiser Hospital in Fremont. Born August 12, 1919 in Goa, India, he was 83 years old and a Fremont resident for 20 years. He was also previously of Ajmer, FL, New York and Rhode Island. He enjoyed fishing, good home cooking and gardening. Teaching and education was an important part of his life, he was the principal and owner of Academy Montessori Internat ional in Newark. He also taught Physics, Math and Chemistry at St. Anselms in Ajmer, Bishop Hendrickens in Rhode Island and Brown University in Rhode Island before changing to Preschool and Primary school Education. He was a membe r of St. Joseph Parish, Society of Pilar of Goa and Associated with Montessori International. Beloved father of Cynthia DosRemedios, Stephen DosRemedios and Richard DosRemedios all of Fremont. He was the last survivor of nine chil dren. Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil service Sunday, July 6, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. held at Berge-Pappas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont. Mass will be M onday, July 7, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at the Mission Church, 43148 Mission Blvd., Fremont. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Born February 12, 1959 in Dar-es-Saloam, Tanzania, he was 44 years o ld. He was a Fremont resident for 20 years and worked 17 years for Stanford Medical Center as a Sr. Clinical Laboratory Scientist specialist in Hematology and Coagulation. He enjoyed playing the market, web designing, and building computers. He was known for his generosity to many charities and his happy go lucky attitude. He enjoyed exercising daily; loved traveling and learning new things especially new languages. He was an active member of St. Joseph's Parish, where he was a new choir member. He was also a member of Society of Pilar of Goa & Society of American Clinical Pathologists. Loving brother of Cynthia Dos Remedios and Richard Dos Remedios both of Fremont, CA. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Joseph Parish, 43148 Mission Blvd., Fremont. Visitation Monday, October 20, 2003 from 4-8 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. held at Berge-P appas-Smith Chapel of the Angels, 40842 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, CA 94538.
